About

War time genital trauma is increasingly on the rise due to advancements in war technologies and weaponry.  Soldiers are continually exposed to upward blast forces from Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).  This weaonry has caused an increase in genital trauma, penile amputations, and testicular amputations.  This has lead to medical professionals using techniques, such as hormone replacement therapy (HRT), to manage levels of testosterone in soldiers suffering from these injuries.
